logic behind the affiliate program
If one of your contacts clicks on the link and later (within 6 months) purchases the online summit package, DigiStore24’s billing system automatically tracks this.
You will automatically receive your 50% commission of the package price.
When someone clicks on your partner link, a recognition cookie is automatically stored in their browser. If that person later purchases the summit package, the billing system uses this cookie to recognize that you referred the customer.
It can be a good idea to promote the summit multiple times, as the „last cookie“ principle applies.
This means: The last cookie placed determines who receives the commission.
When to start promoting?

*You can start at any time. Ideally, inform your contacts multiple times: about 2 weeks before the summit, a few days before, and again on the summit’s launch date, September 19, 2024, so as many of your contacts as possible can enjoy the interviews.
*It also makes sense to share your partner link during the summit, as the momentum builds. Specifically, promote it before an interview that will particularly interest your contacts. Feel free to check out the promotional materials for snippets from your interview.
*Purchase interest usually arises after watching several videos/interviews.
*Even if your contacts purchase the summit package AFTER the event (within 6 months), you will still receive your commission.
Sharing your affiliate link on meta & co.
You can also promote with your partner link on Facebook and other social media platforms.
However, you should remove the automatic preview image that appears when you enter your partner link on Facebook. Otherwise, this preview image links directly to the summit page. If someone clicks on the preview image, it won’t be recognized that the contact came from you!
You can also shorten your promotional link with a URL shortener like bit.ly – (shortening takes only 5 seconds).
In summary:
Post your (possibly shortened) partner link with a short introductory text (see below) on Facebook.
Delete the preview image.
Add the FB promotional banner (see below) as an individual image.
